Micheal Richards is my new hero....I'm a musician/comedian, and I've been heckled a few times. 1 incident ended up with me and my drummer facing a combined 26 charges. Some of these porch monkeys just have no concept of respect. If you don't like my show, quietly get up and leave, there's no need to interupt me, and I don't give a rat's ass about what you think. The crowd isn't there to hear you, they're there to hear me. You step on my toes, you'd best be ready to get smacked down.

I recall Richard Pryor calling people "white ass honkey bitches" ... Eddie Murphy calling whites crackers, you can't go through a night at the Apollo without a black entertainer making fun of white people and throwing in the racial slurs. Yet, this idiot did go alittle too far by using the word in anger. Its one thing to say the word in reference to certain things in a comical standpoint. I mean just because black people themselves use it on each other doesnt mean anyone else has the right, but lets face it given it done correctly it has been done thousands of times and made no press.

@Bumfuckio, every race has enslaved another race at some point in history. It's hardly unique to Africans. The main difference is, the rest of us got over it.
The difference with Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy is they were NOT insulting their audience. when the word whitey or cracket was spoken it was a figurative term. Not done to point the finger at anyone. The closest ive seen a black comedian directly insult a white person was Mr. Jefferson when he called his neihbor "Honkey" and i think Redd Fox said a few things to his white house mate in the last season of Sanford and Son.
Point is, its comedy. Things are just the way the are. there are words that jewish comedians can saw that another man would be strung up for saying. but its all part of the act. and in most cases everyone understands it and laughs along.
This incident was indeed uncalled for. and like i said before, im not angry, im just hurt and deeply sadden that this is still such an issue to people. i can only hope and pray that somethign good comes out of it in the long run.

Both Pryor and Murphy have had backlashes from the audience. They've admitted it before and said they've racially heckled the crowd about it. Their "acts" had strong anti white "humor" written all over it. Is that right to do? Just because they don't yell about it and say it "comically"? Some disagree. Ofcourse non was on film and soon you get guys like Eddie Murphy who have changed their entire livestyle, film career etc.
Now if he were still the "bad ass" of yesteryear he would admit again to it. But, hes somewhat a family oriented entertainer now and doesn't need the negative publicity. Besides both Murphy and Prior were funnier on their worse nights than Krammer. It happens and always will with both races.
