Anyway, lets discuss 'Frobamas' (lol) decision to scrap the missile defense shield, which put the US & Russia at loggerheads.
Whilst, no doubt, some people will insist that the MDS was/is necessary & that scrapping it now is leaving the Eastern European countries, namely Poland and Czech Republic, who were going to site the interceptor missiles, out in the cold, after siding with the US over Russia.
I believe that the MDS was an unnecessary provocation & the by scapping it, the co-operation which will be garnered from Russia, in the battle against Iran, their medium range ballistic missiles & their illicit nuclear programme, would be a huge advantage.

I guess the benefit of improving relations with Russia will outweigh the loss of respect and cooperation from Poland and Czech Republic, but I still can't decide if I'm okay with this. Poland and the Czech Republic sent soldiers to Afghanistan after 9/11 to help us out so we kind of still owe them a little. However, if I was gonna pick a fight with Iran I would rather have Russia backing me up than Poland or the Czech Republic. So guess that's what it comes down to for me.
