The quality loss thing is history anyway, vic. I've got a couple of 19" CRT's (iiyama VisionMaster Pro's) that I never even fire up anymore - and I'm an image-quality freak. They just can't compete amy more. I used to have to wait 30mins while my screens warmed up to get the colours right! Laughable...
myeah.. i'll just stick with LCD screens. i mean, if you're right in front of it, there's nothing wrong with the quality.. and jsut wait until they bring out some HD monitors.. that's gonna be hot!

Must add that I bought the screen specifically for Photoshop - my primary use for my computers. It's the only Adobe certified screen I could afford that beat my 19" CRT's that I used to use. Does the Photoshop stuff well but it pisses me off when playing certain games.
