I don't know where you get the idea of only left wing media carrying that message (unless of course you mean to say all media if left wing, to which I can only offer my sympathies). Pretty much every significant poll across the spectrum has been showing for a while now that the Democrats will probably at least close the gap and have a chance at getting a majority.
I personally don't see much to cheer about though at best. The Democrats seem no better than Republican-Lite seeing the way they mostly mimic Republican gestures whilst sniping at the Republicans who they copy. Heck I've seen better alternatives who are actually in the Republican party when they haven't been caught and instructed to play the base populist.
These investigations they'd supposedly carry out on the administration if they win will end up serving nothing but the Democrats' agenda, not accountability. Sure they'll put them on the spit for the public to roast but I'd say it's more akin to cannibalism rather than eating elephants alive.
