  i love the willful ignorance that 7 billion people living, working, and traveling around the globe cant possibly have any effect on the environment.     Solar is not cheap and never will be. Uranium will run out way quicker than oil if we tried to generate the same amount of power from it.
    
    Hell, 1 calorie of our food basically requires 9 calories of oil energy to produce... you're better off to have a small engine powering your bike than to eat some pasta and meatballs and burn those calories pedaling.
