I used to do ballistic testing and I'm not trying to start an argument.SNIKT is the closest to being correct,you have to figure in ground elevation,770mph is correct,at sea level,a little under660mph at 50'000ft
Since I didn't know the elevation I just used the sea level figure. If the elevation was between 400-800 ft, the figure drops to 759-760 MPH. But, from the flat geography and level horizon I'm guessing the elevation isn't any higher than that.
