Actually lsd, most times i even see a cop using his sirens has been to get past someone who is doing the speed limit and then shut them off again or they use them to change the lights and get into a coffee shop faster. The times that you see a Cop use his sirens and then turn them off can be for many a reason besides getting around a guy doing the speed limit. I.e. You get a hot call (Code 3 run) and you start going and one of the other cops are closer and they call that they are Code 3 (red lights and sirens) by policy you rarely run Code with other Cops at the same time. I am a cop and I understand that people hate me because I have to enforce the laws. It is part of the Job. just remember that you chose to not be a Cop because this is not the Job for you. The only problem i have with the video is that the Officer jumped on the hood of the car. At no time have I ever been taught to do that move. Plus, as a Police Officer, you can not put yourself in harms way and then shoot the guy. Cops are crooked as hell. I have only met 1 good cop and at least 17 crooked ones. I think 99.9% of cops need to be tasered for at least 10 minutes, then shot in the elbow and knees and then set on fire, and let them burn.
