This happened a couple of weeks ago and I followed it. Nothing really developed.

The guy who got beat up is actually still facing misdemeanor charges, disrupting the peace or some BS, even though he actually was correct that there was no time limit and they weren't allowed to cut him off. He even quotes the city code right before he's kicked out, that says there is no time limit. But of course the law offers no protection from retard cops.
The police cheif in a really small town in Canada i lived in for a while was convicted of domestic assault on his wife,lying in court etc. All that happened to him was a demotion. and a divorce
In other words basically the cop was on the job the next week arresting people for the same crime he was convicted of

Does someone have a news URL for this insident? Clearly that fat fuck cop pushed that guy through the door and beat his ass without a reason.
What happened here is that some David Synder guy (the guy who got beat up) was am unpopular councilman. There was a dispute going on in the town over who would police. Snyder wanted to get rid of current cops (said they were corrupt) and replace 'em with another town's or the county's.
The cop was Jack Tiller. He was the top cop in the town, or one of the top cops. You can see that Synder's hands were full and the cop pushed him, but Jack tried to claim that David attacked him and they charged him assaulting a cop or something. That was based on the testimony of a witness, Ted Penn. Penn claimed that Synder attacked the cop, through his handcuffs (seriously), hitting him and grabbing his face (I guess those imaginary cuffs couldn't keep his hands behind his back.) Tiller is still working, even after the video was released and it became obvious he and the witness were lying sacks of shit. At least they were forced to drop the assault charges on Synder. Typical fucking cop.

I researched the subject a while back to make a case about something. Most of that stuff is from printed articles from the late 90's and early 00's. AP, Wash. Post, NY Times stuff... nothing un-credible. I'll try to dig it up if you really care. Some is probably on the internet somewhere.
A few years ago I read an article about a guy who sued his local police department for refusing to hire him because he was "over qualified". Turns out the department said his I.Q. was too high and he would get bored with the job.
They justify it as "smart people would get bored and quit - wasting the expensive training" and "smart people will figure out how to commit fraud too much."
However, during the 30's, in a rough economic time, NY was hiring 300 new officers. They chose from the 28000+ people who applied by highest IQ, and ended up with officers who excelled in their careers and had far less disciplinary problems than the average Joe retard cop.

I think they Cop is out of line with what happened. We have no way to tell for sure because he was out of camera range. However, it looked like the Cop was being an asshole and tossed the guy down. I say, we do need police they serve a tough proffession; however, I think that LSD is a cop that got picked on in school a little too much and now is out for revenge. My problem with cops is that they are the security guards of corporate government and are enforcing corporate rules. And they aren't smart enough to understand this. If they were enforcing constitutional common law, I could respect them.
Most of cops time and budget is spent on enforcing corporate rules that are not law. Most of these rules are ineffective and unnecessary. Many exaggerate the problem they were intended to prevent (e.g. speed limits proven to cause more accidents, gun control proven to increase the murder rate.)
Last year cops laid more charges for possession of pot than for all violent crimes combined. Our tax dollars at work, making the world a shittier place.
