It's not so much the fact that they are killed that is the problem. It is the manner in which they are killed. A scientist discovered a new means of painless death while looking for a more humane way to execute prisoners. It involved nitrogen mixed with an inert gas. Test animals appeared drunk and then fell asleep and died within a minute when tested. It has been proposed to use this method on livestock because it is cheap and absolutely painless. When farms were asked if they would adopt it they said it went against tradition. This is bullshit. Fuck your tradition of torture and give me a burger, assholes.
