    But i can see where they got it confused. Camel spiders however have a 1.5 to 3 inch body, and a leg span of up to 6 inches. So camel spiders are actually pretty big. Camel spiders also have two sets of fangs and upper and lower pair. and are also known as wind runners, and sun spiders.

    That's a spider. Camel spiders aren't spiders (or scorpions, though they are arachnids; their proper name is "Solifugid"). They do run FAST into people's shadows, but won't eat you unless you're small, and that pic of 2 together is next to the camera (you can see by the hand holding it).

    No, you misunderstand, the one in the pic is of the Lycosidae family. The one that eats soldiers is the camel spider. Or wind scorpion, or sun spider, all members of the Solpugida, Solpugides, Solpugae, Galeodea and Mycetophorae families. Hope that clears it up for you.
