Don't mess with King Arthur's Lancelot

when you've got one of those nasty Lancelot thingies in your angle-grinder, whatever you do, dont let go of the secondary grip and put your hand anywhere near the work and then turn on the tool. cuz it will TRAVEL, toward your thumb.

if this was you, it's pretty predictable that you shouldn't let go of the secondary grip and put your hand near your work..
      not a smart move.

That's awesome. Turn your angle grinder into a chainsaw. Seriously where can I get one of these? I've never seen them anywhere and something like that would be really useful.

A guy renovating the shop next to ours wanted to cut out some of the roof timbers, so he put a 7" ripsaw blade on a 4" angle grinder. He grabbed a step-ladder and off he went cutting away.

      I left the room, quickly.

They are prohibited over here now, for just those reasons. Sometimes the chain came loose and well flew in the first thing it encounterd, most of the time the person using the grinder.

      sasquatch says:

most of those things are rated at about 1000 rpm but an angle grinder operates at about 22000 rpm so it's easy to see why they fly apart
