^i saw donnie darko in 2002, before its re-release. and what exactly does knowing donnie darko help with this video? by my recollection it dealt with time travel and possible mental illness, but not "suicide." He said donnie darko cause that was one of the many shows/movies the song was played on, just recently i heard the song on that show without a trace. Mad world, by that band fear for tears or something.
^ i love the song, i own donnie darko, and no the video was shit. the kids were either joking, or want to follow a steryotype way to strongly which is sad. watch the tape again, they are all over 12, which means they could do way better than that, considering they understand the simple words of the song, i assume they could do better than meaningless footage of them being retards and them implying that they are mutilating their emo arms. good song, good movie, retarded kids, end of discussion.

I thought it was cool. I mean, when i was a kid, I always wanted to put songs to video. I just never had the tech. I though this was cool, because these kids actually made what they had to deal with at the time into some pretty cool art in my opinion. Sure, this song was from donny darko, (where by the way it was first heard) ((oh, and is a great movie by the way)) ) I am just happy that the song got used in a cool way is all. Because I always though a great video went with a good song. And if i could splice all this shit together when I was a kid. Well, I guess I would be the shit.

Concidering the age of the people making this, it was very well done. Does it hold up when held to the highest standard? Of course not, but that's not the point.
