I seen this real episode... and it is NOT this shitty looking.
This is the original plotline before family guy came on tv.
so basically stewieX is wrong..this is actually an episode that aired on television except it was originall the pilot..they just cleaned up the animation
bahaha, whatever... the description on the page i got it from said it was what MacFarlane submitted to fox... I assumed it was right and added the last sentence in the description myself :P

South Park is better.
Basically it finally got famous so they thought, "shit now we have to go back and make a crappy looking pilot deliberately to give us some history since The Simpsons has its roots in The Tracey Ullman Show and South Park creators had their little short discovered. Plus it gives us something extra to flog off on a separate DVD to desperate fans."
