They messed with its sense of smell, although this vid doesn't prove a thing. If any two prey / predator animals are brought up together, they will usually be friendly with each other.
The are genetically modified so they can't smell the cat. Without the smell of the cat they don't have the fear reaction.
These two weren't raised together, I don't think. It's a lab mouse. They probably have a whole batch of them with the same modification which get to play with the cat ocassionally. Of course, it doesn't prove anything because it's just one test. The same test would have to be repeated many times with the same or similiar results to provide any conclusiveness.
Nope, its a virus type thingy that can only procreate in a cats stomache so it somehow forces the mouse to no longer fear cats so its will get eaten. In theory if thos virus was to adapt and infect humans it could turn us into zombi like beings.
