How can anyone like American football? They pause the game every two fucking minutes and show about 40 commercials as well. Only a dumbass would watch an entire game that takes six hours to finish.

You just contradicted your own stereotype. A lot of players 'dive' in order to get penalties/free kicks they don't deserve. A lot don't do it either. Most footballers are not pussies...but a few are pretty good actors. When you're being paid $300,000 per week to kick a ball - these things do sometimes occur.
