There are natural climate changes on this rock that has been happening millions of years before man . I agree. But to say that humans have not had any part in changes to this planet would be wrong. The lakes , rivers ,oceans air would be a lot more pure . You can not argue this . The more humans being do increase many prolems . So what do we do ? Going back to Darwin (only the strong will survive) O well

was it the movie " the day after tommorrow" where everything flooded and then froze over? well sumthing like that is gonna happen where the north and south pole switch positions and shift everything around.....we are pass do for another ice age by like 300,000 yrs or suthing like that, so its coming soon!!

      El_Wanko 2008-01-26T18:39:41Z says:

    • yak
      yak 2008-01-26T18:59:35Z says:

shadowfalcon do you know what happens when the ice caps melt?
it creates more water, do you know what water does? it reflects sunlight, do you know what that means? overall cooling of the globe, which means re creation of the icecaps....
and please don't ever fucking talk about the day after tomorrow when it comes to the environment, because it was so fake it was retarded...
we are on the trend for another iceage in a few hundred thousand years, see the word "trend", its how the worlds cycle works... us as humans aren't doing shit to speed it up, the world has tons of safety mechanisms in place to keep shit in check, via the jungle, the polar icecaps, the oceans, the deserts (and creation of more deserts)...
explain how our polar icecaps are going to 'switch positions' exactly?
don't be stupid and fall into all this money making propaganda that politicians and companies are spewing about becoming environmentally friendly, all they want to do is to get you to buy new "green" things that force you to buy things in order to be a "good person" and "help the environment", if you don't you are a bad person... do you recycle? if so you are a moron... recycling almost ALL items costs more energy then to not recycle, AND landfills create new land which help coastal cities actually grow. there are people out there that want to make money off of peoples lack of knowledge about how huge of a scale of time the world has, you see all these studies about how the average temperature is rising x degrees bla bla, well those studies are done on such a short scale its pointless... the world goes through fluctuations, having a 10 year or 20 year period (which is what most of these people are even referring to) means nothing, when you look at the planet over the last few hundred years, or few thousand years, thats where you START getting any clue of whats going on, and to REALLY understand you have to go back tens of thousands hundreds of thousands and millions of years to see the true cycles....
sweet jesus you better hope that deja does not read this thread, she will go fucking bonkers.

      MrFugsmucker 2008-01-26T19:27:53Z says:

Shadow, what yak said is correct. Where did you get the 300,000 years from? We're only about 10,000 years out of the last "ice-age", (technically, because there are polar ice caps, we're still in the ice-age) so the planet is almost guaranteed to get warmer for a good few years yet. The impact of man on 'global warming' is like heating a football stadium with a candle.

    • yak
      yak 2008-01-26T22:23:50Z says:

the good thing about the halogen bulb is it lasts longer then the completely shit filament bulbs that they manufacture now, back when they were invented, they lasted forever basically... i mean there are still filament bulbs that were made back then that STILL are working today...
halogen is good because its energy efficient and they are bright and white light which is good...

how did life even start? , from the begining earth was just water and rocks. I readed that life started in the ocean but how? Like how can water turn into life ? Like the first lifeform they said was the cell but how can a cell just pop up! from nowhere? With other words if i take water (pure water) and all the basic compounds like sulphur and mix them in a bathtube and mix it and wait 50billions year there would had evolved life in there?

What the fuck would a boat do there? Did it patiently wait by the bridge as water level slowly diminished over an eternity? Or was it just about to pass under the bridge when all the water suddenly vanished? Or did someone just build a boat after all the water was gone just so people would wonder what the fuck it's doing there?
