  Falux, the fighting is a big part of North-American hockey, but not every player fights. Every team has a full on goon or three who do most of the fighting and their fights are not always personal; mostly its just profesionals doing what they do. Most players will fight, on occasion, if provoked, but some of the skilled players will never drop the gloves. A lot of the fights are about enforcing standards of play (you cheap-shotted our skilled star so now Semeko [famous Edmonton goon from the glory days] is going to fuck you up), and often it's just about entertainment and team momentum. Finally, Hockey is a very agressive, physical sport, so with all these roid pigs skating around blasted on Sutafed, tempers are going to flair. Since it's entertaining they don't crack down on it.
