And then there are the houses that were destroyed. Insurance will only cover the cost of reconstruction, not the cost of the land and the market value of the house. Who knows if and when anyone will return and reconstruct? Becuase of that, these people would probably rather live elsewhere. So now they are stuck with only enough money to reconstruct their house which is probably less than the payout on their mortgage, and they are left with nothing. yikes
That's why they shoul go back to africa.

I still don't understand why people would live where there's hurricanes and tornados. I live in CA, and people from out of state always ask if I'm scared of earthquakes. They rarely happen, and even less often do you feel them when they do happen. It's those fuckin wild fires and landslides that are pesky.
