This looked somewhat ok until I saw some fucking faggy characters from a fantasy game at the end. Why do they have to do that? The only games I've been able to play recently were Call of Duty and Vice City. Everything else has some fucking elves or aliens or dumbass robots. Or the people are supposed to be human, but they're dressed in 50 lbs of bulky equipment so they look like a fucking robot. And instead of blood and pain when people get injured, it's fucking flashes and sparks and stupid noises. WTF? I can't play that shit, it's like watching power rangers. Make some fucking games for adults goddammit.

I'm with El_W on this one, realism makes for a better gameplay. It was the silly critters in Far Cry that almost ruined a good first person shooter.

Ghost recon is pretty cool. But all the realistic games end up retarded, or in a category that has a few thousand games of (I.E. Vietnam, WWII)
i love realism in FPS's, but they sometimes take it too far. it shouldn't get 'in the way' of the gameplay.
I tried to play the first Halo once, but couldn't get into it. I noticed the controls are really weird to get used to. btw, did this remind anyone else of that odd Dr. Who episode with the weeping angels that turned to stone when someone looked at them?

What's improved? hmm, let'see. New vehicles, new weapons, new maps, ability to create own maps, ability to modify which weapons and vehicles are in specific spots in the different existing maps. Ability to re-play games from any angle at any speed (for after game smack talk or for training purposes).
