pretty brutal. i don't mind a good fight , i just don't like all the grappling . it's boring to watch. I actually don't quite get the hitting after a guy's down, elbows , back of the head shots. One of these fairies is going to get killed. I've seen them elbowing the other noob right in the back of the skull where your brain stem is fuckin crazy
your not alowed to punch or elbow the back ov the head in ufc ...hiiting the guy while tehre down and finishing the fight has been proven to do ALOT less dammage to the brain than letting them fall and stand back up ...plus that pillow fight shit is inpractical and cant be used ... mma is much more usefull in the street u carry alot more tools .... cant always carry your pollows with u ...hhaha

I couldn't believe how many more punches were thrown after the guy was clearly knocked the fuck out.
These aren't What I'd call professional sportsmen, like EPISTAXIS says down a few posts, they're more like street fighters with absolutely no respect for their opponents. When you've beaten the guy, step back, it's over.

Knock out, tap out, or ref stoppage, with that kind of money on the line you don't stop till the ref says so. They know whats in store for them when they step in the ring. No one forces them to do it. If you're getting paid to beat them to KO then thats what you do. What difference does it make if they are standing or not?

not many people die in mma... i believe the first death in a sanctioned mma fight happened within the last year (2007)
boxing averages about 11 deaths per year however... to bad most boxing matches are really boring now :(

fuck ufc. pride used to be so much better. they ruined everything.
i just don't like their contracts they have with their fighters.... if they gave a little more freedom to their fighters it would be nice, but as it is anyone signing with ufc is put into a strangle hold... if it keeps up like that and other smaller mma companies cant stay afloat ufc will become just as bad as how boxing got with basically 1 or 2 promoters owning all the boxers so you would have no variety at all ;/
that and it seems like they are letting just about everyone into it. i live in vegas and know of 3 people who are either in the ufc (and arent known) or about to go fight for their shot in it. its dumb. oh well. you cant win everything.
