i got it and i have never seen the OC. i had never heard this specific song but they do scenes like this in pretty much every other movie or show that is made, so i could still pretty much get the joke.
When I saw what this was referencing after seeing the parody, I couldn't help but laugh again when he got shot. Isn't it great what audio and visual cues can do to you.
