Kaferpilot says: Simple, every time the CCD in the camera makes a scan, the blades happen to be at the same place every time, coincidentally. It would have to be at a pretty fast frame rate too.
What's really interesting is that you can see how the blades actually change their AoA and tilt, something impossible to notice with the naked eye.
doesn't really say much about the frame rate.. it's radially symmetric so it could be every rotations or 1/5th of a rotation because nothing distinguishes one blade from another
Did you notice the coninh angle in the flare, he is very close to a vortex ring state..mmm nice cam reminds of when bell strapped a camera to a main rotor head on a 205 years back.. the flex in a blade is freaky shit..
i think it's the fact that the back rotor thing is going , along with the huge blades. even though they aren't moving even the wind generated by the back thing would likely cause a bit of uncontrolled lift...and the helicoptor has wings...more lift, it's just takin it's time to crash...i think
Comments to Hind, Russian AH, main rotor out
first
second
nice one sniv

damn..i guess i learn something new on ms daily

me retarded.. go ahead and drop the s in rotations, or insert some arbitrary number >1 right before it
no, ... just no.. if you really belive that then there is no hope...

Second! Oh...
Or it is just some footage from a ps3 game...
pleep those blades aren't going around...are u joking?

swallowedto much seemen ?
Well, it is a Russian helicopter so the other explanation might be that Rasputin is making it fly.
"A Hind D? Colonel... what's a Russian gunship doing here?"
I have no idea, Snake.
Gee, if the main rotor is not turning, that means you can stick you head up into it w/o being hit and injured.
you can finally use the sun roof to yell at girls! yay
That was cute.
What makes u think they can't put ufo or antigravity technology in a helicopter ???
I coughed to hard after taking a bonghit and shit myself
go with it
eh... oh i know!!! other than the stated from above (ie: footage from a game) its nothing more than a toy on a string! damn i'm smooth
spinning so fast look likes its not moving...
my head just blew up
