Seriously, I had a friend who bought a box a year ago and paid a few hundred bucks for a floppy drive. After giving him shit about it, I asked him recently how it was going with the floppy drive... He hadn't used it to date and regretted getting it.--OK, what can't you do that a CD/DVD-R, CD/DVD-RW can't do in the programming world. They're bootable.
Microsft says "Hmmm, the internet on a disk. Let's make it incompatible with everything, obsolete in a months time and load with the error 'can't find error message'. We'll charge $100,000,000 and use the profit to build a big golden dildo the size of a house"

I don't know what's more pathetic, Microsoft putting out a floppy diskette in 2005, or losers who still use floppies in 2005.

You still need floppies for some operations, Hypo. Please, be quiet.

Your friend got seriously ripped off. Shouldn't have to pay more than 20 bucks for a floppy drive.
I think she's taking it out.

1.44 MB of annoying popup ads, is my guess.
Keen eye El_Wanko, as opposed to it being of the 740Kb variety floppy (with the single sqaure hole).
That is one small disk. It's really more of a..."diskette", if you will.
