When the I-phone first came out it might have had something. But now ? hell what phone doesn't allow you to listen to mp3's or whatch movies ? I mean any phone that costs more then 150 $ has that stuff on it .... No need to pay 2 or 3 times that price. Same goes for that touch screen stuff. A lot of phones use it now, and in all imo it's crap, nothing beats the good old keyboard !
The iPhone didn't have jack shit when it came first out. There's been phones before it that supported more stuff and even the new version still can't send picture/video text messages.

I'd just got myself a Nokia N95, when one of the guys at work turned up with an iphone that he'd paid a fortune for. I tried to tell him the 95 was a better phone, but he was like "Yeah but this can download itunes and podcasts!" That night, I downloaded the free Nokia upgrade onto my free N95 and hey presto! it was now also a free ipod phone, as well as an mp3 player, camera, video (with steadycam), sat-nav etc. It's also useful as a phone... Needless to say he was pissed, even more so when his iphone died after 3 months.
