It's funny, everytime shit is about to get bad, everyone thinks their job is secure. Like what they do is so fucking important, that they'll probably even get a raise while millions of other jobs are lost.
Basically unless you make or sell booze or smokes, don't expect things to be great.
This was great....thanks toolman....I am in contruction and I can tell you this....I would take 1 mexican over 5 white guys...I just want them here legally..so they can pay there share of the taxes
Tell that to my brother, who nicknamed his last Mexican employee "Wandering Juan" because he just wandered around trying to look like he was busy.
On the other hand, when he contracts something out, he goes with a bunch of Mexicans he knows that work their asses off.
