i owned a dreamcast bought it for 30 bucks from a rental place then sold it with that ufc tapout for 75 a month later

the DC failed because Sega used the same marketing strategy they used for the Saturn, the PS2 was just released and the DC was too difficult to write games for. those three things killed what was a great system.
Seriously... by the time Sega got a home console right, the damage was already done.
