He hardly ever blocks, he keeps his gaurd down almost the whole time, just keeps his opponent an arm's length away. Its been done boxer vs kick boxer & i dont think the boxer landed a single punch because as soon as he tried to get close he took a kick then a pinch...not to mention all the other forms of martial arts involved in MMA
