during the time of the storm, i was at police headquarters, then we were evacuated to the Broad St Overpass by boat after the levees broke and the water began to rise... this pic was taken from the overpass... i submitted a pic that i took from the boat, but i dont think it made it.... maybe tomorrow
the national gaurd took us from the overpass to a hotel in the frenchquarters on these big ass trucks, i got pics of those but i dont think i submitted them
exactly how many people died in "the don"? f.y.i. they're still finding bodies in the lower 9th ward after 3 years.... not to mention the few thousand that were dragged out to lake ponchatrain that will never be recovered
Rita was much worst than Katrina, Katrina gets more attention just cause it was N.O. The eye of 3 bad canes passed over the area I was in . Andrew woke me up when my bed started vibrating ,my girlfrind and the the kids was kinda scared , did not bother me. Rita was the only one that got me scared .
understand that it wasnt the actual hurricane that did the damage, it was the aftermath.... the levees didnt break until the storm had already passed... so yea, katrina wasnt the worst storm to hit the U.S., but the aftemath and devestation ranked amung the deadliest
they keep rebiulding it because new orleans is the second largest trade harbor in the united states, because it controls the mouth of the mississippi river, not only that, if you lost the amount of oil that is processed and shipped through louisiana, you'd be paying around ten bucks a gallon for gas (unless we invade iraq) .... ever wonder why the day after Katrina, gas prices nation-wide jumped up $1.50 per gallon?
Let's all look on the bright side for a minute... At least they are going to rebuild it into a "Chocolate City" eventualy. Then all the Bush haters can move back and sink away into the Gulf of Mexico like they obviously want to do.
Comments to kitrina pic, super dome
maaaaaaan.. i wish cool shit happened to me : (
Some earthquake is gonna nail my ass.
Yeah, now that I'm in southern California I get to look forward to those.
Don't fall in a crack or anything.
i've lived on the old san andreas for most of my life, never felt more than a fun little tremor.
i guess we do have the fires though
-1 Smerf. =(
Hey, it's nice in here. I'm actually starting to get a little tan. Only took 2 months!
Hang on...Ginger and tan do not normally go together.
where are you originally from smerf?
Seattle area
And yes, I know. Redheads and tanning do not usually get along. In my case, tan is a relative term
i lived there a few years, up in the redmond area
By relative you mean Blue White?
crazy shit tyrone
Indeed.
too bad the crazier shit couldnt be found... i had some pics of a few dead bodies but they were mysteriously deleted
hmm..so where were you when it happened?

who gives a fuck nigger. memphis is in the national championship.
didnt the government give you hobo's like 5k charge cards? how much old english is that?
Doesn't matter...They stole all of it while they were taking the plasma screens and shit anyway.
That billboard made me laugh for some reason.
its the naggers
Perspective people, perspective!!
I couldn't walk my dog down 'The Don' for a whole month!
Boom, you gotta understand, New Orleans is six feet or more below sea level. A hard rain scares the piss out of 'em.
Soooooo, just take some fish out of the sea...easy...
exactly how many people died in "the don"? f.y.i. they're still finding bodies in the lower 9th ward after 3 years.... not to mention the few thousand that were dragged out to lake ponchatrain that will never be recovered
and new orleans is 15 feet below sea level, and sinking
A lot of the people not found (Wanted for various crimes ) took the advantage to dissappear . :)
Bourbon street had no flooding , thats the place I would have been in if I was there at the time .
WTF Tyrone, they've been findin bodies in the the wards since crack hit in the 80's.
lol... true
only a shitload of niggers on welfare would live below sea level in hurricane central
We all know this was all Bush's fault too ;/
its ok if i swim in that right?
Are you up to date with your quinine?
Shit man, of course. That water is probably cleaner than the stuff you drink back in Africa.
If you mean Africa to mean the Delaware River, ummmm then....no.
The Delaware isn't all that clean, either lol.
Hence my point.

1,800+ dead as a result of katrina. deadliest hurricane in almost 80 years.
"new orleans is sinking man and i don't wanna swim"
All of south Louisiana is sinking .
No leveys should have ever been built in this country.
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
But yet they keep rebuilding it. Even the Anasazi were smarter than that.

Darwin. Suck it, troglodytes.
Well Darwin didn't figure in taxes, charity, tree huggers, or stupidity. If he had, your avatar would have been gone long ago.
fuckin NO, central america gets ass fucked by every hurricane and those guys get new porches to monkey around on, fuckin hell
Let's all look on the bright side for a minute... At least they are going to rebuild it into a "Chocolate City" eventualy. Then all the Bush haters can move back and sink away into the Gulf of Mexico like they obviously want to do.
i take youre a bush fan.... idiots flock together
i wouldn't bother, bush supporters can't actually read, they just are able to memorize various phrases in order to fake communication.
I'm amazed a Bush supporter can ever use a computer...maybe they bought it so they could see how much lower his approval rating drops every day.
