So I didn't know who they were when I submitted the pic? The reason I put "for Possum" is because he and I both are Dead Boys fans. You're a poser fag that likes whatever is called "punk" these days.
so now that i reread your comment to me... i've gotten paranoid... are you saying i don't know who they are because i only tagged stiv (since he's the only one doing the mangina)? or are you surprised i knew his name?
How do you think you know enough about my tastes in music to deem me a poser? I guarantee I know more about the subject than you think I do. As a matter of fact, I believe I have proven myself to have more than a passing knowledge about the subject in the past.
i'm just impressed that a goth of deja's generation has even heard of da Boys...
ps - urks, i is not a "bassist"...i is a "bass player"...only "bassists" i know of are either fags or 8-string jazz nerds...whoops - same damn thing
there was that punk phase i went through in highschool before goth :P but as with my apparent old age in goth, it was the same with punk. my little sister went "punk" in highschool (she's significantly younger than me) and listened to the likes of rancid and shit... when i told her to be a real punk she had to have things like gen x etc listed in bands she listened to outside of the 'popular' punk (the clash for ex.) she told me i didn't know what i was talking about. the youth of today have no clue
Am I the only person who doesn't feel the need to join in with any type of group thinking subculture. I don't even like football for god sake, & for a male in England, that's practically unheard of.
considering where i grew up, my older sister and i were quite the embarrassment to my little sister since we were freaks that there was only a couple of in town. hardly joining a 'group'. more like refusing to be part of a group.
Just to be clear, I'm not trying to be confrontational here...
'when i told her to be a real punk she had to have things like gen x etc'
When you say 'real punk' it just seems as though it is a group you associate yourself with. There doesn't necessarily have to be a hundred people close to you doing the same thing. In punk terms, that is probably a good thing.
Like when kids watch character on TV & they want to be like them, it doesn't matter that their friends don't feel the same way, they still aim to be like what they...admire/agree with/look upto?
^Probably a crap example, but do you see what I mean?
Believe me, "urks" doesn't bother me. I have never been the mainstream kind of guy or even part of any "subculture". I very rarely find any group of people I get along with.
Comments to Mangina
Chris Martin?
Skiv?
Dead Boys.
I know who it is. I submitted the pic. The tag is wrong.
Yep, Dead Boys.
Are you sure?
wow... so i typed stiv bators wrong... i was late and in a hurry... fuck off
i fixed the tag so when the cache expires, it'll show stiv bators so you can get over it.
guess that sonic reducer got out of hand?
...nice pic urks :)
It's cool, Deja. Didn't expect a chick to know who they were anyways.
Thanks for posting it so fast also. I think I just submitted it a couple days ago.
Yeah, urkelfag, I'm sure. I knew who they were before you did.

Hey urkel - do you have the live DVD?
I've sen it. I don't own it. I have their live records.
actual vinyl?
"Night Of The Living Dead Boys" and "All This and More" on vinyl. I have some bootleg shit on cd. Vinyl is all I mostly buy.
so now that i reread your comment to me... i've gotten paranoid... are you saying i don't know who they are because i only tagged stiv (since he's the only one doing the mangina)? or are you surprised i knew his name?
you are cool for a negro!
ummm, my last post was @ urkel, btw...
Just a joke, Deja. You've showed in the past that you know alot about music. Are you a "Lords" fan?
Thanks, Possum. You're pretty cool for a bassist.
not overly... but as with anything, there's always a song or two that are enjoyable
Same here. I like some songs, but they lose me at "Like A Virgin".
You don't like punk, unless you like Towers of London!
Only joking, they need to die a slow painful death!
How do you think you know enough about my tastes in music to deem me a poser? I guarantee I know more about the subject than you think I do. As a matter of fact, I believe I have proven myself to have more than a passing knowledge about the subject in the past.
I hope you're joking, OJ.
urkel says on his Myspace page that his favorite band is Sum 41.
