yeah the galaxy is the most dun i have had with a video game in ages.....but come on yak the wii has zelda and the r4 on it is a shit ton of fun for 20 bucks. I just cant wait for an elite beat agents for the wii.

ps3 has one very important thing going for it, its one of the cheapest bluray players on the market, and now that the final nail is in the hd dvd coffin, if you want hd movies, you'll want a bluray player ;/
and yeah borracho zelda and stuff is fun, zack and wiki is awesome but still none of them really pack the same punch as mario galaxy in my opinion...
from everything i've seen uncharted is supposed to have a decent story and nice graphics, which is what all the ps3 and xbox games have ;/
they aren't actually FUN to play however...
and yeah, i'm generalizing incase you didn't realize that, there are some good games for xbox of course, not so many for ps3, but a couple ;/
If you dont like 1st person shooters then the ps3 is pretty worthless. Thats like 80% of it's lineup. But I do, and if you dont, yer a nancy!

It doesn't seem like blu-ray is going to be much of a viable format either. HD-DVD may die a little sooner, but the way sales are on these HD formats, I doubt either will be made the standard. Perhaps it'll be some mini-disc that holds terabytes of space 5 years from now, or maybe everything will just plain be replaced by digital distribution. Either way, it seems pretty clear to me that HD-DVD and blu-ray are not enough of an upgrade for people to take much interest.
The xbox has planty of games i want atm though. Some of them are on the ps3 toobut whatever. Assasins Creed, COD4, Fable2, Oblivion, Mass Effect, Bioshock, and Gears of War. Sadly I probably won't be buying it.
I would. In my opinion, anyone who gives even the slightest lick about games should own an X360. Every other console second.

warner brothers signing the exclusive bluray contract a few days ago, which means bluray holds about 80% of all movies distributed as exclusive bluray deals... hd-dvd had paramount and universal..

ps3 sucks now, *but* it will get way better in the future, as killzone 2 and MGS4 are also coming out for it. and i want to play drakes adventure too, looks pretty good.

I know someone who has a ps3 and reckons the BluRay players is the dogs bollocks. Don't really know why he thinks this as he's only got a bog standard crt tv.
wii and 360 are the best. the ps3 isn't bad, but it also isn't good. it needs time. the 360 has a gaggle of goodies to offer but as we all know, halo isn't that good. the wii on the other hand is amazing, and with brawl coming out it'll be thest until fable 2 or spore come out for the 360. the wii also has wifi so cheapshits like me don't have to pay for the internet.
