There's no room to box (or, in this case, flail about like an epileptic windmill) in there, take it outdoors. I used to box in the street with my buddies, but we stopped when we started getting hurt. I hit one guy hard on the jaw, and he was on a soup diet for a week and I couldn't bend my wrist for a couple of weeks. Even though it was a game, we realised that at 220lbs + each we could cause serious injuries to each other.
weighing a lot doesn't make you any stronger. the reason you got your asses kicked is because you don't know how to properly defend yourselves in a fight.
So why don't heavy weights ever fight a Light weight or Welter weight in a boxing ring? It doesn't make you stronger but more powerful. Strength isn't all there is to a punch

a; The fact you are heavier makes your arm heavier therefore more force is transfered when the punch lands, even more so if your opponent is moving toward you.
b; How did I get my ass kicked through poor defense when I hurt my wrist landing the punch that put my buddy's jaw out? There wasn't much wrong with his defense either, I started a dummy move with my right to get his attention, the presented him with a roundhouse from the left. As a natural right-hander I was pretty pleased with it, apart from the pain after.
