Not to defend stupid drivers but if there was a near unnoticable track next to me where a Metro freely drives around without any signals crosswalks or horns I can see that as a problem, I mean I always look befor I turn but most people dont, I think it was more stupid on the engineers part...

If you look closely the street was painted with arrows showing straight only... so it had nothing to do with the tracks being barely visible. They are not supposed to turn left at most of those crosses period.

Who looks behind them when you make a left turn? This is very poorly designed. I would set this up so it's on the side of the road coming towards traffic not from behind. It's all laughable until somebody gets killed from the poor engineering. Screw the drivers license, who's giving out degrees?
