Mortal Kombat may have been one the worst movies/games but the music still rocks
MK 1 and 2 were the fucking awesomest shit in the arcades in their days. They made street fighter and the other competition look like fucking pong in comparison. I remember having the hots for Kitana in MK2, but not Meelena, even though they were meant to be twin sisters and played the same actor.
MK moves were so much easier to execute, too. Remember how in Street Fighter lots of characters had those bullshit moves where you had to hold down+back for a while? I don't have that kind of time, man!
