Norman Mailer was planning on writing a book about this guy called: "The stupidest man who ever lived." Unfortunately Norm' died. Luckily he was already awarded the Pulitzer for literature and the nobel peace prize in advance, upon showing the judges the above video.
Yeah, Evel died. He was a badass though. I read recently that some guy attempted to write a biography on him, and wrote a bunch of slanderous bullshit instead, so Evel tracked him down and broke both of his arms with a baseball bat in a Hollywood parking lot.
Jesus Christ. His son doesnt really impress me. Eval did some hardcore shit using just him and his bike. His sons using all these rockets and shit. But still, he has talents.
Corey Scott, 28, this was at Orange Bowl stadium in Miami, 2-8-1997. He had performed this stunt 4 previous times with no problem, just grab the net. Obviously, this time he couldn't hold on. Landed directly on his head, broken neck, died instantly.
read a couple posts up, he was supposed to grab the net and hang on. I guess he had done this stunt before. Looks like the bike grabed the net and kick his ass off. Bike got sick of him getting all the attention and decided he should take the fall for once.

Guess he was just supposed to grab on to the net until they lowered if after.
But what they failed to forsee is that having a big fucking bike bouncing around on it might get in the way.
But the bike held on.
i bet if there was a twinky up there he woulda grabbed the net.. that fatty.
"piledriver" hahahaaaaaa...
funniest footage I've seen in yonks!
oh my god that bitch is dead as shit
The only good stunt man is a dead one. Just ask Evel.
But Eval didnt die doing a stunt. I think I read that he just recently died. Or I missread it.

He was supposed to do a Parkour-type landing and then thrust his arms up in a "V" and shout "TA-DA!"
exactly what i thought...fail for this asshead
Is it just me or did that look like Fun
it looked fun as hell ...right up untill the dying part

Well I guess thats what you get for being a dumbass. The bike had the right idea though.
I was hoping the bike would land on him at the end, like in a cartoon.
yeah i was waiting for that to happen.
that would have made my night
this was from a Faces Of Death vid
haha ironic how his bike 'grabs' the net, and he doesn't..
but seriously, why didn't they give the net some more slack, and why didn the net end so high above the ground?
I've done worse.
wow..... i am really wondering what he EXPECTED to happen...

Nice net positioning...
...Motorcycle says: So that's when we both hit the net and I let go, you hang on. Check.
