    Thanks Yak. I know that 'strewth' is strine (Australian slang) and is a contraction of the expression 'Gods Truth', but Ssammy7 was using 'Smurf' and 'Strewth' with a lower case 'S' which should mean that neither of them were proper nouns, but could also be taken as meaning that both words were proper nouns. This confused me into thinking that Sssammy7 was referring to two different people. The syntax of the sentance made it difficult to decide if 'Strewth' was being used as a proper noun or as an exclamation. Maybe if we were to use capital letters with people's names we would avoid some confusion in these important discussion forums? Alternativly we could just say 'fuck it' and continue sliding down the slippery slope of literary laziness until we end up being totally unable to communicate in anything other than 'text-speak' which is the 21st century equivalent of the Neanderthal grunt, thus recapitulating in a decade the linguistic achievments of the past ten thousand years.
