Sunshine was a hell of a movie, I luved the soundtrack. The shear amount of research that they put into the film, it was literally astronomical.
mikebeez my personal favorite movies are horror, then probably martial art/kungfu, then probably horror comedy, then pretty much anything else.. i watch a ton of movies so it makes me pretty picky. i enjoy movies that try and break away from the normal recipe. lots of independent film and shit.
as far as recent movies go for horror i'd say REC and let the right one in are some of my favorites.. bagheads was ok for a really really low budget movie tho..
if you like zombies or more traditional vampire movies (like romantic vampires) then let the right one in and rec are movies you should watch for sure.
(both are foreign and subtitled tho)
