This comment is for those of you that do actually have a heart on here. Wednesday my wife went in to the hospital for a heart operation. The operation was a success. They patched two hole that they had found when she had her stroke back in April. Unfortunatley, during the proceedure, she suffered another stroke. This time a massive stroke. Thursday, they performed a second surgery. This time to save her life. She lost 90% of the right side of her brain and it swelled so bad that it was applying pressure on her brain stem and so they removed about a quarter of her skull. A skullinectomy or strokenotomy or something, I don't know, I've talked to so many different doctors in the last four days that I don't know up from down. She's still in NICU and she's still not out of the danger zoon yet, but she's showing some signs of improvement, so they say. I haven't seen her move yet. The good news is, she's young and has a good chance of overcomming this although they're quite speculant that she'll ever move her left arm or leg again. For those of you that do believe in God, I'd appreciate it if you would say a prayer for her and keep her in your prayers so that she may get through this. Sorry to have ruined your night.

A lot of people make nearly 100% recoveries from a stroke because the rest of their brain works harder to make up for the parts that were effected. I worked with a gal that had a stroke at 28. She was incapacitated for about six months, but a year later you'd never know she had a stroke. So, tools situation isn't hopeless. The guys sounds like he's showing an enormous amount of strength on this. Good for him.
