what he did was hold the trigger down until he was shooting the wall, and he was hit and killed by his own ricochets

I think he was hit and killed by his own ricochets off the wall. He just kind of disappeared in the dust.

I think the explosion was from a grenade launcher.
well I agree that it looks like the ricochet is what killed him, but I still think this deserves to be summed up simply as 'Pwnage'

Definitely from an m203 grenade launcher. You see a white puff from a grenade explosion emerge from the ground and then he flies back.
putting up a good fight? He didn't last 30 seconds! He definatly got shot by a rifle, not a grenade. A grenade would have made a louder bang man...and put up pieces of earth.
anyway..OWNT! no ducking, strafing OR leaning....and there's no respawn in RL...
Well kilrari, if you wana go through the video frame by frame and prove me right/wrong, you can, but I'm almost positive that he kind of stumbles foward and colapses onto the wall infront of him. Kind of the same way someone does when they've been shot...not excatly concurrent with a grenade blast (in which case he would have likely dropped on the spot or immidately after)
...plus theres no distinctivly loud and sudden bang or flash in the video that a grenade would give off, but there is a burst of what appears heavy gun fire mabey .50 cal (there also appears to be dust comming off of the far left wall shortly before he is shot which now leads me to believe this wasn't ricochet either)
I don't think he was 'outgunned' BUT rather 'OUT-BULLETED'

Who cares if it was bullets or grenades. We should be happy that it's one less Iraqi to worry about.
Well it wasnt ricochet, it is extremely improbable for a bullet to return to its origin and and still pack enough of a punch to kill. It also wasnt a 203, the sharpnel from a 203 would definetly have injured the others near him and probably the cameraman.
