When I was young I drew many things way better than this and people acted like it was the shit, then eventually I realized I was just ok at drawing as compared to most people who suck at everything, but compared to real artists I sucked ass.
Doesn't seem like you understand art too well. An artist isn't someone who can draw (or do any other medium) better than anyone else. An artist is someone who gets such a good feeling from drawing that they are compelled to do it no matter how good or bad someone else tells them they are.
