Exactly. Punctuation helps clarify meaning, end of story. If I have to puzzle over what someone might have meant because of bad writing, I just don't.

Anyone spot an odd connection? Room 101 from Orwell's 1984 who also wrote Politics of the English Language where he lamented the ruin of English through misuse. I know, me too.
yes technically a comma would go well after "Language." This would be the worst possible place to write a grammatically suspect comment.
Politics and the English Language is Orwell pointing out how words are used when they neednt be, misused and generally abused by the meaning of the word being changed...nothing to do with grammar. He used examples of this in 1984 throughout but nothing to do with grammar so what exactly is the odd connection?

There is a differnce between writing a book... where correct punctuation and grammar should be used... but when msers are fucking around talking shit to eachother here... no, there's no use for it to be perfect... besides, its only because people run out of things to make fun of eachother for. I have to admit is makes me cringe when people use tit's instead of tits... apple's instead of apples.. thats just annoying. bottom line, i was brought up to speak with proper grammar, but in a casual setting like this.. you all need to chillax.. or don't, i don't care either way really.

You've encountered someone that writes the word apples as "apple's"? That would imply that the apples own something. I want to meet this person. and throw some brick's at them.
Some doorknobs think the apostrophe is also for pluralizing nouns ending in a vowel. I've run into it before too.
