The majority of the programme is set in a "gentlemen's club for hangmen", although the show is also interspersed with sequences of sketches, often featuring different characters.

If you found this guy funny you have to watch "Garth Marenghi" absolutely fucking hilarious. Set in hospital and is rip on 80's horror thriller drama soaps, pure brilliance!

I never used to like The IT Crown until yak & Deja started talking about it & made it sound funny. I gave it another go, realised its great & told my friends to watch it.
Right now I don't have great memories of Garth Marenghi's Dark Place (only saw 1 episode) which I know my friend loves - I may have to give it another try.
have you guys seen the christmas nativity bbc special done by all the bbc comedy guys? oh god its so funny... done in a 70's musical style the story of the nativity shot from the point of view of the inn keeper... so funny...

dark place was one of the greatest additions to the adult swim line up. "Not my fault, monkey bastard hands"
Wario, Kenny Everett was certainly odd, but he made one of the funniest sketch shows ever.
I don't remember alot about it, except for the silly theme song and the onrunning cartoon with the lady that was always falling out of her outfit.
