I think its hilarious when Rogan says someone is a "striker" because they throw a jab or a punch that doesnt go three feet out then wraps around someones head. These aren't pro fighters, they're wrestlers that would get murdered by pro-fighters in seconds. I like watchin em too but for shits sake, they are descent at everything and not special at anything.

he just can't really take a punch anymore is all.. hes fairly powerful and accurate (relative to mma striking) when it comes to counter punching and being defensive, which should make for a good fight vs shogun (this was actually one of the fights i didn't mind in this ufc, not just because "chack" got ktfo'd and had to ask what happend) because shogun is usually extremely agressive, which plays right into chucks counter attacking.
as far as fighting a boxer, if they were fighting with boxing rules the boxer would fucking demolish pretty much most of the ufc fighters, compared to a boxer even the "best striker" of the ufc is a chump, however we've seen what happens to boxers and shit who are 1 dimensional that come into mma (hint, they lose)
I've never heard of any real boxers fighting in the UFC but I just started watching it. I just have a hard time believing a boxer would be taken to the floor and not ko a guy with those gloves in the process, what are they 2 ounces? Are you talking about a real boxer ie they fought in the Olympics or were top ten in a WBO weight class? I really doubt that but I guess anything is possible. I would pay to see a boxer like Pac get in the octagon but who would he fight, anyone in his weight class (140) would get destroyed, I think Pac used to kickbox too. I'm just saying everyone seems to think the UFC fighters are the best in the world and they aren't even close. There really isn't a place for fighters anymore because there's not any money in it unless you get major promotion. Boxing is falling apart because all the real athletes that could be the best boxers go play different sports to get paid. At least American anyway. Just imagine someone like Sugar Ray in his prime stepping in the octagon, it's a joke.

even the worst mma fighter in the world has a better ground game than the best boxer in the world, and a boxer would have nearly zero takedown defense. could you imagine sugar ray fighting fedor and fedor giving him inside leg kicks as soon as he goes for a jab until sugar ray is basically crippled because he has no defense against that. and *when* the fighter gets it down to the ground, the boxer would be subbed literally in seconds... but like i said, if they were boxing, sure a boxer would win in a boxing match, but in an mma match the boxer really wouldn't last more than however long it took for the person to get him down on the ground (which most likely wouldn't take long)
Your basing this on the boxer giving a shit about a leg kick when he's going in for a kill....I'd take a few leg kicks to give out a few crosses. A boxer is not going to sit back and jab when he's getting leg kicked, he's gonna bring the fight and play his strengths and unless the mma goes straight down to the ground when the bell rings, whats he gonna do? Try to bear hug the boxer as he throws 6 punches to his one? We'll never know, a major promoter would never let a big ticket boxer fight in the mma...if it happens it's a long way off. And it's weight classes, a 140 lb mma fighter's leg kick is gonna do jack shit to a 140 lb boxer heavier weight classes it would come into to play. Sugar Ray was a welter 147 lb, Fedor is like 230 lbs right?
