Dipshit, Urdu is not a branch of Farsi. I've looked it up on wikipedia and in many more places. In the Indo-European language family there are several branches. Indo-Iranian, as you mentioned above, is one branch. It then diverges into two different branches, the Iranian and the Indo (sanskit) branches. To say that Urdu is a branch of Farsi is like saying that Spanish is a branch of Italian (minus one generation removed). But, they both come from the same place.
