If it's Hulu then proxy won't work. They really tightened up. The only way that still works that I know is VPN (hotspot shield).

I was actually hoping you'd tell me how proxy servers work, so I can watch shit meant for people in Americaland.
I wouldn't want to watch anything from Britain because it wouldn't be funny and they all talk like they have a dick in their mouth.
oh, you want to know how proxies work? well for doing sites like hulu etc you are going to need a socks proxy server, since they will be doing their stuff using flash video, which of course will go through just a normal http proxy, although if you use an anonymous http proxy it may work...
if you use a web based proxy or any of those shit proxies you find by searching for like 'free proxy' you will probably have no luck whatsoever.. like hidemyip.com or some shit most likely won't work at all for that...
your *best* bet would be to befriend someone who is in america and have them set up a socks proxy for you, open their router/firewall to allow you to connect, set up your prefs onyour computer to use that socks proxy server and there you go.. the biggest problem with proxies of course is bandwidth, since its the proxy server serving the data that you request to you, so it goes site -> proxy -> you which can be rough for streaming video, but if its someone with a cable modem or dsl or something you shouldn't have much of an issue...
hell you could even buy a linux shell for like 2$/month and set up 3proxy (www.3proxy.ru) and as long as its in america, you are fine.
not that i know anything about proxies or anything.

Oranje you limey fucktard I said how to watch them. Proxy won't cut it. Hulu caught on to that shit. There's something out there called Hotspot Shield that everyone is using for this. It's a VPN and the only thing I found that works for hulu. I last tried it about 2 months ago and it was working good then.
