I´ll give you a glimpse of my brightness. There were forms of ritual cannibalism in most every early culture. And of cause some "primitive people" have kept this custom to this day (e.g. in remote areas India or the Amazon region). It`s for example about incorporating the vitality of the "victim" by symbolic eating brain or heart and so on. As you probably know religious beliefs (or moral things in general) are products of cultural evolution. So it is quite random what a group of humans construct as their morality. It`s just there for the purpose of managing the way of living together in social groups. So it can be reasonable to establish such rituals. You shouldn`t impose your Judeo-Christian background on different cultures.
And by the way: My remark way meant ironic (which you can see at the indicated winking signs) as most of the things I say and if you don`t get it than you are probably the dumb douche bag here.

Well, first I didn`t assume anything about "Judeo-Christian values" that you as an individual chose or not. I just wanted to remind you of the simple fact that you come from a certain cultural "background" which you didn`t choose for sure. And that suggests specific convictions about what is normal or allowed. But people aren`t aware about things like that (or do you recall every day that you are a product of a random, aimless "cultural evolution" and things could be totally different too).
But second: I didn`t want to teach anything (and I can hardly imagine that you assumed that I intended to do so on a side like MS). In general I don`t care much about what others think or not as long as they don`t harm me. But you attacked and insulted me so I just felt like I should respond.
Third the remark about wikipedia and basic school education was an answer to dik. Not to you.
Fourth: You are right that the exact definition of ^^ is more sth like laughing than winking, but that doesn`t change anything in the conclusion that my statement obviously wasn`t meant literally.
And finally fifth: I don`t know what kind of school you want to that regarded goofy things like emoticons as basic education (and by books I didn`t mean comics. ;)).
