that is real, they wrote the episode based on the fact that comedy central refused to show mohammed's image. So, it actually looked like that.

How was it possible that they could fit comedy on so many levels into just a few seconds of footage. Genius.

It's because Family Guy is ridiculous and full of it's own shit.

I have a bad feeling that South Park is going to end soon. I don't think Trey Parker and Matt Stone are going to continue the series past this season, because they're starting to get censored by Comedy Central too much, especially lately.

First Tom Cruise cancels the scientology episode, now this censorship over Muhammad.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone are good, intelligent guys. They won't take Hollywood's shit. Maybe they'll decide to move on to something bigger and better.... sucks, because I love South Park, but this PC shit is starting to get ridiculous.

that was funny... i don't know why they're attacking family guy though. obviously they don't like the show or their humor but is there something else that sparked this fight? I wonder if macfarlane is cooking something up to counter this.

I had no idea Comedy Central pussed out before today. I don't live in America so I download most of the shows I watch an hour or so after they air and somehow ended up downloading an uncensored version.

I miss the days when South Park would attempt to be funny instead of just trying to create controversy to gain media attention.

Yeah, the humor on South Park is on a 12 year old's level, because despite the fact that it has the TV-M rating, that's who they're really marketing the show to.

I don't think they "trying to create controversy to gain media attention"... In fact, I daresay that, since it's inception, South Park's humor has become more sophisticated. It's above the level of constant shit jokes and the shock value of vehement cursing, which is the reason it was so popular in the first place. I love watching it now, because it's found it's niche... pointing out how extremely relevant topics in today's society are completely full of shit on both sides of controversy, through extremely base humor.

It used to be marketed to 12 year olds, but I think the show is just as apt to entertain people of any age demographic now.

That's not what Trey and Matt say about it.

Family Guy is written to appeal to a more mature demographic. It's draw is it's innumerable references to T.V shows and history bites from the 80's - present which they poke fun at in a way which mimicks the nuances of common discourse, an undertaking which is rarely properly exucted in scripted television or movies. Simply put, if you aren't a member of their target audience, then you're not going to get it. Then again if you're a member of Mucho's target audience then there's not much you're gonna get anyway...
