A group of people from Honduras was reportedly visiting the area during the 4th of July weekend to see how Americans celebrate Independence Day. What they saw was a fight in which a man was being stomped and kicked while on the ground. Selvin Cano, a 28-year-old student from Honduras, reacted by taking off his belt and swinging it around to try and break up the fight. Seconds later, a flash went off. Cano was shot by a man who he had almost hit with the belt. Later in the video, Cano walks back toward his friend with the camera, not realizing he has been shot and is bleeding. He was taken to the hospital, where he died a short time later.
