wow fuck retarded people.. .002 pineaples.. this kinda got to me after a while.. i love how they keep repeating their mistake.. and have no clue whatsoever of anything mathematical. heh.. difference of opinion.. normal math and stupid math..
.002 Send files on a fricken computer where it's free. .002 FREE is the same as .002 FREE. I sent your mom 35,000 kilobytes @ .002 shut the hell up, and my bill says, we all owe MuchoSucko money.
That pissed me off. Sept 10, my phone was stolen off of my table at a night club. It was listed as stolen until Sept. 17th. When I got my phone bill, I was charged $261.00 for downloads on Sept. 13. I spoke with 3 people from verizon that couldn't figure out why I was saying that the downloaded contents were fraudulent. Fucking idiots.
Fuckin yuppie. Couldn't think of an easier way to explain himself, so caught up in feeling superior to these dirtbag people with their shitty schooling and shitty jobs.

omfg. "Ok, well you know what, I'm going to post this recording on my blog..." 'cause I'm a big whiny little passive aggressive geek who doesn't know how to handle a situation. WAAGH WAAGH WAAGH
Wow, so all those people behind the guy in the commercial, and not one of them knows the difference between a penny and a dollar? It's the network! The network of idiots!
WTF do you want? You phone one of these companies and you get some dude in India you can't understand, or some fucking retard in america. Or two fucking retards. I would hung up after a minute and taken the fuckers to court.
Wanko- and what, pay some asshole lawyer $1200 to get back your $70? Let me explain, $1200 is 1,200 one dollar bills or 120,000 cents... $70 is 70 one dollar bills, or 7,000 cents...
I'd represent myself. The courtroom would fall silent as I whipped it out. Then the verizon lawyers would object but I'd jizz down their throats. I got out of a lot of traffic tickets that way.
I hate phone company employees because they are trained to never cooperate. No matter how much you tell them something THEY DON'T GET IT! Try to cancel your account after your contract is up and see how fun that is cause they keep offering you different plans and/or free shitty phones. The blog thing was pretty gay though. If he threatened to bring them to court they would've probably listened a little more clearly, but who the hell knows!
the problem could have been resolved if his communication skills were a bit better. when he starts throwing 10ths and 1000ths in there he loses the rep. they established that .002 dollars & .002 cents were different. so off of that he could have had them work the math out side by side for both and they would have gotten the same result. he could have then asked them why .002 dollars and .002 cents would equal the same, if the rep understands that .002 dollars and .002 cents are different and hopefully by then they would understand what he meant when he said they needed to convert the final number into cents.
you just explained it pretty well. though i think considering the circumstances, he didn't do too bad either. I would've gotten extremely impatient and started saying things like "i can't believe you're this much of an idiot"
All he had to say was "I was quoted a price of .002 cents per kb for roaming charges before going out of country to canada, with the kb's used my resulting bill should have been 71 cents.
Instead you charged me at a rate of .002 dollars per kb instead of .002 cents per kb which resulted in a bill of 71 dollars as opposed to the 71 cents I would be paying at the rate you originally quoted me at."
If they couldn't understand that you could just tell them that because it seems their system only figures things as a percentage of whole dollar ammounts and not cents, you should be paying .0002 dollars per kb which is the equivilent of .002 cents and that instead they were still charging you the .002 dollar rate
yea, im thinkin that they just figured since the computer does it it cant be wrong. whoever wrote the program to calculate that put in .002 as the dollar value instead of .00002
If he wanted to use 9th grade math he could have said that .002 equals 2/1000 which can be reduced to 1/500. So logicaly it would be 1/500 of a cent per kilobyte. As long as they can grasp that you can see that 500 kilobytes would equal one cent. So take his 35893 kilobytes of usage and divide it by 500 which we get 71.786 CENTS which he should have been billed. Apparently those verison Rep's needed things explained to them in more simple terms then saying Thousandths of a cent.

.002 dollars = 0.2 cents. If the CSR and supervisor were intelligent they wouldn't be working in these jobs now, would they?

He was being charged 70 bucks instead of 70 cents. I would be pissed to.
Okay I just heard the "I'm gonna post this on my blog" He lost all credit the second he said that.
