  never played evercrack. I started out plaing freelancer and counterstrike then a bud got me into playing anarchyonline which is just as bad as any mmo out there. I will admit i do play wow but i don't play enough to raid like most the other ppl.3 hours in an instance is just too much time .

  EQ set the bar for a lot of games. WoW took their cues from Sony, and tried to make a better game. The only reason why WoW dwarfed so many other games is that hardware is getting cheaper and their marketing campaigns have been just short of superb. I enjoy raiding and ok with sacrificing a common social life for something that promotes teamwork, strategy, abstract thought and a unique bond with other players compared to waking up in a puddle of puke next to some naked hairy fat girl your buds balls in your mouth and some jack ass taking a photo with another douche bag holding a sign that says muchosucko on it.

  i downloaded the 10 day trial and got bored enough to quit by the third day. that was back when i was on drugs too so im surprised i didnt like it more. the final for my networking class was for everyone to build a lan from scratch and everyone play wow and get their characters up to level 30 or something but after we finished setting up all the routers and switches i told the professor to fuck off if he thinks im going to come to class to play a game with him so he can start his own guild or whatever since hes such a douche that no one out there will let him in theirs.

  oh trust me, i made a shit ton of complaints about that professor but hes the head of he IT department and does whatever the hell he wants. i stopped into his main pc lab earlier this week to find that the school had given him the money to buy 25 - 24" iMacs, specs totally maxed and everything. he teaches nothing on mac, has nothing planned for teaching anything on mac, its in the business building of the university so its not like its in an art/multimedia lab...i really think he just wants to have a bunch of nice computers sitting around so he can be like "hey, i have the best computer lab in the state, look how awesome i am". thats the kind of douchebag he is. oh well.

  I fucking hated my IT head. She was a 50 year old women that worked in a shoe factory her entire life as a supervisor. She taught HTML for one class and was too fat and lazy to pull down the projector screen. She used dial up at home, and didn't know the difference between extensions. This was an XHTML class and we were basically making web pages that were compliant for 1996' netscape browsers.
