So... a thin layer of air sticks to the carbon and refracts light, making it appear as if the outside of the egg was transparent? Dunno, just a guess since I know the egg didn't magically transform into "X-Ray Egg!!!"
^ Oh I looked a bit closer and I was right. In the video the "yolk" of the x-ray egg is black, even though the the yolk was never scorched. Therefore what you see as the "yolk" surrounded by a transparent "egg" is actually the egg itself surrounded by a pillow of air.
Actually, you're close coupland, but not on it entirely. It is a trick of the light reflecting off the egg through the water. The surface tension causes a lens effect, which distorts the image below the surface. The black on the egg's surface becomes bent inward because of the shape of the egg, making it appear smaller. Then the fact that the carbon was formed of parafin wax from the candle gives the egg a reflective sheen when it's wet, so the rest of the egg we see shimmers, making appear translucent.
The angular refraction ratio was less than the non-concave angular refraction ratio which causes the optical "quit being a faggot coupland/fukUdragon" effect.
if it takes a chicken and a half a day and a half to lay an egg and a half how many flapjacks does it take to shingle the shit house roof?
you should allways eat your eggs slowly because it was a full days work for a chicken to make

^ okay so I was right. Sorry if I missed the chemical explanation, but it was fucking decent for a guess...
lol Yak...you should have said..."How does it work EGGzactily?"
should do that to a fertalized egg, with like a chick in it lol
couplands explanation was fine.. i got no idea what you're saying loredragon
a video of a guy playing with the menstruation product of a hen. now thats just sick!
who gives a fuck
lol @ coupland

^that's what you get when you don't finish school ;)
Nice..
I'm with Stephen. Way too much time on their hands. Wasting oxygen and all.
no, whats sick antispezisist is the first person who ever came up with the idea of eating something that a chicken just shit out of it's ass.
The incredible edible egg!
